Important Login Information for Students

To login to MyLaw, be sure to enter your full LawNET email address as your user name, e.g.,

MyLaw has the following features that students will find especially useful:

  1. Easy access to course pages
  2. Targeted School Announcements/Events. .
  3. My Reminders displays events you've RSVP'd to, Instructor appointments and Library Conference Room Reservations.
  4. Online Instructor office hours for faculty members who use this functionality.
  5. Library Conference Room Reservations.
  6. Law Review Write-On module.
  7. Targeted content from law school departments.
  8. Law School Photo Directory.

What is MyLaw?

MyLaw provides “one-stop-shopping” for all of the school’s internal web-related needs.  In addition to serving as a course management system, the MyLaw portal includes: targeted communications (to specific groups like 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, LLMs, etc.); online instructor office hour reservations; library conference room reservations;  take-home exams/online paper turn in utility and more.  MyLaw hosts content from Law School departments, which can be targeted to specific student groups, so that you will see only the information that is relevant to you. Your MyLaw home page is also automatically populated with links to your course pages each term.

Easy Access to Course pages

Your MyLaw home page provides easy access to your current course pages.

Course Page Features

MyLaw course pages have the following features:

  1. Course Announcements, Cancellation Notices and Deadlines that also appear on your MyLaw portal home page as well as your course page.
  2. Easy to use course documents library.
  3. Drop Box Library for students to turn in non-anonymous papers and assignments
  4. Discussion Board.
  5. Integrated take home exam/online paper turn in utility.
  6. Easy access to instructor and instructor assistant contact information.
  7. Email Listing Tool to access emails sent via the course page.


My Reminders

The My Reminders part lists events you RSVP'd to, instructor office hours and Library Conference Room Reservations.  These can be easilty exported to your personal calendar.

Online Instructor Office Hours Sign-up

You can sign up for office hours online with Instructors who choose to use this feature.

Library Conference Room Reservations

Library Conference Room Reservations may be made through the Appointments & Reservations section in MyLaw.

Targeted content means that you only see links to information that applies to you as a student, making internal content appear more streamlined.
