UCLA Law Library's collections and services are focused on supporting academic research and training future attorneys. In contrast, the LA Law Library's collections and services are focused on supporting members of the public in resolving legal issues.
The LA Law Library offers recorded, live Zoom, and live in person trainings on civil lawsuits, family law, landlord-tenant law, wills, and other common legal issues. The LA Law Library also offers regular events where members of the public can talk to attorneys on Zoom, by phone, or in person.
