Cite Checking Resources: Perma.cc

This guide is designed to help law students start their first cite checking assignment, and is also intended to be a reference that students can return to at anytime for assistance with typical cite checking questions.

Perma.cc

Journal staff use Perma.cc to create permanent records of the web sources in citations.

Your journal should have a journal Perma account, and members of that account can create a Perma account for you and add you to the journal account. Once your journal adds you to the institutional account, you will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your Perma account.

Note: you do not want to create your own unaffiliated Perma account because accounts unaffiliated with an institutional group have limitations.
