Chinese Law on US Lexis and Westlaw

Both Lexis and Westlaw have China-specific versions, which the UCLA Law Library does not subscribe to.

However, the US Lexis and Westlaw subscriptions include some basic Chinese law material:

China & Hong Kong SAR on Lexis
Lexis provides selected cases, statutes, and legislation for China and Hong Kong, as well as a handful of treatises, law reviews and journals, and news sources.
Chinese Material in Westlaw
Westlaw provides a handful of treatises on Chinese law, covering legal topics such as arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property.
Hong Kong Materials in Westlaw
Westlaw also provides some material for Hong Kong, including cases, legislation, and a small handful of secondary sources.

Generally, the most useful tools for researching foreign law on Westlaw and Lexis are their Practical Law and Practical Guidance tools. These tools provide articles, Q&As, and other short, practical guides written by attorneys familiar with a country for attorneys who are unfamiliar with that country.
