A. How do I install Examplify on my computer?

Installing and Registering for Examplify

The first step is to install and register the Examplify software on the computer you wish to use for your exam. We strongly advise that you follow these steps at least one week before your first exam so that there are no delays to starting your exam on the exam day.

Before installing and registering for Examplify, you will need the following:

  • A stable internet connection.
  • The device you'll use to take your exams.
    • DO NOT use an iPad, as many Examplify features do not function properly on these devices.
    • Ensure that your device meets the Minimum System Requirements. However, please DO NOT update your computer to the newest operating system. Disable automatic updates on your computer until the end of the final exam period, to avoid updating to the newest versions of your operating system. We cannot guarantee that Examplify will run smoothly with the newest operating systems.
    • To ensure the best results, temporarily disable your anti-virus software before your exam. You can find assistance for disabling your anti-virus here.
  • Your login credentials.
    • The Records Office will send an email prior to your exam with your Examplify username and password, which you will use to download the Examplify software to your computer.

Once you have these items, follow the steps below to install and register for Examplify.

  1. Click on the Examsoft link provided in the exam information email sent by the Records Office (the subject of the email will be "Examplify Installation and Registration Instructions").
  2. Enter your login credentials. Use the Student ID and Password the Records Office provides in the same exam information email.
  3. Once you have logged in, click the Download button and follow the prompts on your screen to download the Examplify software to your computer.
