This LibGuide provides a comprehensive state-by-state list of historical, contemporary, and current United States newspapers, with an emphasis on resources available online and in the UCLA Library collection.

Overview of this Section of the Guide

In this section of the Guide, you will find the following:

  1. A list of several newspaper databases that provide coverage for multiple regions in the U.S. (e.g., LexisNexis);
  2. A list of major national newspaper and news provider resources (e.g., Wall Street Journal) and,
  3. A list of several portals to U.S. newspapers available online.
