Anderson's library has three highly detailed, and extremely helpful downloadable guides on UCLA's Business Databases.  The three guides, authored by librarian Michael Oppenheim, are available as pdfs here: http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/rosenfeld-library/databases/business-databases-by-category

Databases that UCLA Law Students CAN access (via UCLA subscriptions)

Databases that UCLA Law Students can NOT access (but you should know about them)

  • Capital IQ (Standard & Poor's)
  • PrivCo (though parts of it can be searched through Lexis Advance (paste "PrivCo - Private Company Profiles" into the search bar))

Databases available if you have a public library card from the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL):

  • Hoover's Company Profiles (go to LAPL's website > Research and Homework > Hoover's) (log in using your LAPL card number)
  • ABI/Inform (go to LAPL's website > Research and Homework > ABI/Inform) (log in using your LAPL card number)
