UCLAW Express provides a program of services designed to meet the needs of the legal community. We offer reliable, cost-efficient services with reasonable rates and rapid turnaround times. We feel that UCLAW Express helps you take better advantage of the UCLA Hugh & Hazel Darling Law Library's collection of over 600,000 volumes and the resources of the numerous other libraries on campus. Through UCLAW Express you will also be able to make use of our knowledgeable and helpful staff who are familiar with the UCLA libraries' materials and their locations. Most of our services are available only to users who register with our program. Please visit our Services page to fully appreciate the advantages of registration.
Important Note: Registration with the UCLAW Express Service does not include access to the Law Library.
Copying services are limited by U.S. copyright law. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S.C.) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a copy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is "not used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposed in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. UCLAW Express reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
