Below are links to helpful Westwood resources and fun places to visit in or near Westwood.
- Borders Books & Music Has free parking in their own parking lot or take the #1, #8 or #12 Big Blue Bus from UCLA. This store has great events every week including book signings, lectures, music, etc. All Free! Check the schedule.
- Hammer Museum This UCLA run museum is always free to UCLA Students, Staff and Faculty.
- Hollywood Forever Cemetery "Learn about Hollywood's past and present and see the graves of stars such as Rudolph Valentino, John Huston, Peter Lorre, Jayne Mansfield, Johnny Ramone, Cecil B. DeMille, "Alfalfa" from the Little Rascals and many more."
- The Mystery Bookstore We have the best Mystery Bookstore in L.A. right in Westwood. They frequently have book signings with authors that are the best of the genre. Excellent selection of new and rare books and helpful staff. A must visit for lovers of a good mystery.
- Westside Pavilion Mall (at Pico & Westwood) Outside of Westwood, but on Westwood Blvd. Take the #8 or #12 Big Blue Bus from UCLA to get to this shopping mall with many food options, a gigantic Barnes & Noble and the beautiful new Landmark Theater Complex.
- Westwood Farmer's Market Wednesdays, 3pm - 8pm, Sundays 10am - 3pm. on Broxton between Weyburn and Kinross.
- Westwood Village A guide to Westwood, which includes dining, entertainment, shopping, history, etc. This is the most up to date site I could find, but businesses come and go so quickly in Westwood--double check before visiting.
