New Schedule:

  • U.S. shall file its motion for preliminary injunction and supporting memo on or before Dec. 15, 2011.
  • Ds shall file their opposition to the U.S.'s motion on or before Jan. 17, 2012.
  • U.S. shall file its reply in support of its motion for PI on or before Jan. 31, 2012.
  • Oral arguments shall be conducted in the consolidated cases on Feb. 17, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. for La Raza's plaintiffs' motion for PI and the U.S.'s motion for PI.

On Nov. 28, 2011, the Court granted the USA's motion to consolidate cases and to set briefing schedule. Motion hearing set for 2/17/2012 8:30AM in Room 102 before Judge Clark Waddoups.

On June 28, the Court ordered that the plaintiffs in each of the consolidated actions provide a supplemental memorandum on or before July 20, 2012 addressing how the Court's decision in the Arizona case informs as to the pending motions. Responsive memos should be filed on or before Aug. 17, 2012 and shall not exceed 15 pages. Upon receipt of the memos the court will schedule oral argument.
