This guide provides a list of print and online sources sources for court rules available in the UCLA Law Library.

Decisions

Federal Rules Decisions, St. Paul, Minn.:  West Pub Co.  1941-.  KF 8830 .F4 (no longer updated in print as of 2017).  Access online via Westlaw (ID and password required).   Federal Rules Decisions is part of West's National Reporter System.  It publishes cases that construe the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.  It also contains all proposed rule changes.

Federal Rules Service, St. Paul, Minn.:  West Pub Co.  1939-.  KF 8830 .F52 (no longer updated in print as of 2017).  The Federal Rules Service publishes cases that interpret the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure. 

Decisions citing federal and state rules may also be found by using a citator service like Shepard's, available to UCLA library users via NexisUni, or on LexisAdvance (ID and password required) or via Keycite on Westlaw (ID and password required).
