About the Kindle

THE KINDLE IS AVAILABLE FOR CHECKOUT TO UCLA LAW STUDENTS ONLY--
NO EXCEPTIONS!

UCLA Law Students may request up to two titles at a time for downloading to the Kindle before checking it out. You must sign-up in person at the Circulation Desk and it is available on a first-come, first served basis (you cannot request the Kindle for a specific day). The loan period is two weeks, with one renewal if the Kindle has not been requested by another law student. Since we are “customizing’ the Kindle just for you, it may take up to one working day for the Kindle to be made available to you after you make your request or after it is returned by the person before you on the sign-up list.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As with other library materials, you will be responsible for the full replacement cost of the Kindle, plus a $10 processing fee, if the item is lost, damaged or unreturned. The total will be approximately $250.
