What are Committee Prints?

In contrast to committee reports, which are issued by Congressional committees to express the committee's opinions, committee prints are materials prepared for Congressional committees by Congressional staff. They commonly include materials such as background reports and draft bills.

Where to Find Committee Prints

The most comprehensive source of committee prints is ProQuest Congressional:

If you are not a current UCLA student, faculty, or staff member, and cannot come to the UCLA campus to access ProQuest Congressional from the UCLA wireless or library computers, you can access PDFs of some committee prints for free online:

Finally, some committee prints are available in print on the law library's A Level (basement), as part of the collection of government documents arranged by the government's special SuDoc numbering system. Committee prints are listed under SuDoc numbers starting with Y4.
